Misdemeanors

Unlawful possession of marijuana
Any person who possesses 1 ounce or less of marijuana.  Whenever any person who has not previously been convicted of any offense, or of any offense under any statute of the United States or of any state or of any county this person will be eligible for a conditional discharge.  Upon fulfillment of the terms and conditions, the court shall discharge the person and dismiss the proceedings against him or her. There may be only one discharge and dismissal under this section with respect to any person.
Fine: Up to $1,000                                           Imprisonment: Up to 1 year
                                                                                

Possession by any person in excess of one ounce of marijuana creates a rebuttable presumption that the person possesses the marijuana with intent to deliver.
 
 

Felonies
 

Unlawful sale/delivery of marijuana
It is unlawful for any person to manufacture, deliver, or possess with intent to manufacture of deliver less than 10 pounds of marijuana.
Fine: Up to $25,000                                         Imprisonment: 4 to 10 years


More than 10 pounds, but less than 100 pounds of marijuana.
Fine: $15,000 to $50,000                                 Imprisonment: 5 to 20 years


More than 100 pounds, but less than 500 pounds of marijuana.
Fine: $15,000 to $100,000                               Imprisonment: 5 to 30 years


More than 500 pounds of marijuana.
Fine: Up to $250,000                                       Imprisonment: 10 to 40 years
