Any person who knowingly sells, manufactures, grows, delivers, brings into this state, or has possession of a quantity of marijuana from 2,000 to 10,000 pounds commits the offense of trafficking in marijuana (Mandatory 7 year prison sentence running consecutively to prison term imposed for violating other drug laws).
Fine: $250,000 Imprisonment: MMI 7 years
Trafficking of marijuana
Any person who knowingly sells, manufactures, grows, delivers, brings into this state, or has possession of a quantity of marijuana 10,000 pounds or more commits the offense of trafficking in marijuana (Mandatory 15 year prison sentence running consecutively to prison term imposed for violating other drug laws).
Fine: $1,000,000 Imprisonment: MMI 15 years
Trafficking of marijuana (near specified location)
A drug-free commercial zone may include only an area which the municipality or county has previously zoned commercial pursuant to its planning and zoning powers and any residential area contiguous to such commercially zoned area extending not more than one-half mile from the external boundary of any portion of the commercially zoned area. A municipality or county which designates one or more areas as drug-free commercial zones shall be required to make such designations by ordinance and shall be required to post prominent and conspicuous signs on the boundaries of and throughout any such drug-free commercial zone (fine and incarceration doubles for second offense).
Fine: Up to $20,000 Imprisonment: Up to 20 years
