1395. Nick Iowa I believe that if marijuana was legalized and regulated like cigarettes then everything would be better, no more overcrowded jails, no more taxpayer money going to bullcrap, and no more stupid fines and getting into trouble! it helps with stress, eating disorders (not eating enough), etc. The national defecit would go down and the economy would probably begin to stablize. 11-21-08
1394. tb Michigan I say not to drugs, but I say yes to stopping over crowded jails, yes to shutting down violent drug dealers and drug cartels, yes to spending tax money on more important cases, yes to what to people want. Legalize marijuana and that's one less issue to deal with. 11-18-08

1389. louis suffront Florida i believe as long as you go to school and have your job and take care of your kids and wife. i think you should be able to smoke as much marijuana as you want. you should have the right to smoke it its not processed. i just dont understand why america hates on marijuana so much. its like they want to keep killing ppl by advertising alcohol commercials and ciggarrettes. im going to try my best to get my voice heard in florida. 11-13-08

Lane Minnesota i dont use weed or any other drugs i have tried weed in the past but it was not for me also i dont drink alcohol and am a outstanding citizen of my state and country and a great injustice is being done to those americans who do use weed wheather it be for pain or for pleasure something must be done the popularity of the legalazation movment is growing fast and i think its time for the politicians to listen to the people We The People demand freedom from crime and from a government that tries to control our lives give the people the little bit of freedom they ask for do the right think be a true patriot 11-12-08

1384. austin cullison Maryland 3 way to fix our economy end the war, lower gas prices and taxing marijuana there is no reason why marijuana is illegal and alcohol is when it is worse 11-10-08
  1383. Brandon Palmer Florida 11-09-08
1382. Lloyd E. Wilson Kentucky Prohibition of marijuana is destroying the lives of young people around U.S. A criminal conviction of marijuana sentences them to life... life without equal opportunities, a life where they have no reason to go to college, a life where they cannot get a job over $9/hr while their counterparts who consume alcohol act violent and partake in other crimes more frequently (where is the justice in that?) Prohibition failed with alcohol because it only increased problems instead of education. Marijuana prohibition was set in place upon the foundation of lies from Anslinger and the propaganda from yellow journalism and non-reputable newspaper sources. There was no scientific facts presented except a bold faced lie about an absent professional's opinion stating that he was for the new legislation (when in fact prior to that hearing he had voiced that his opinion was against the legislation and that the so called facts were false and misleading.) 11-09-08
1381. THOMAS MOHLER Michigan GOD GIVE US THIS PLANT AS PART OF HIS MEDICATION FOR PAIN. PLAIN AND SIMPLE - IT IS NOT CHEMICALLY PRODUCED. ALL THIS PLANT NEED'S TO PRODUCE, IS DIRT, WATER, AND SUNLIGHT. THE ONLY CHEMICAL NEEDED IS MIRICLE GRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 11-08-08
1380. Alexander Thomas Berry North Carolina 11-06-08
